It seems that the conspicuous consumption and excesses of the last ten years will soon be completely gone, as the recession forces us to tighten our belts. Certainly, in the current economic climate, many people are worried about the security of their jobs, their homes, and their way of life. They can save money, but they still have the designer clothes and accessories they enjoy without having to compromise on either quality or looks. Perhaps it’s not surprising then, that such a big change in how we shop is developing.
